State Dept. proposes “Biographical Questionnaire” for passport applicants

Still don't think we live in a third world fascist country where control of the masses (that'd be you and me) isn't part of the plan? Still wanna call me paranoid?
The U.S. Department of State is proposing a new Biographical Questionnaire for passport applicants. The proposed new Form DS-5513 asks for all addresses since birth; lifetime employment history including employers’ and supervisors names, addresses, and telephone numbers; personal details of all siblings; mother’s address one year prior to your birth; any “religious ceremony” around the time of birth; and a variety of other information. According to the proposed form, “failure to provide the information requested may result in … the denial of your U.S. passport application.”
The State Department estimated that the average respondent would be able to compile all this information in just 45 minutes, which is obviously absurd given the amount of research that is likely to be required to even attempt to complete the form.
On the other hand, some say it's a hoax, and no such plans are in the works...

Almost doesn't matter, given the surreal Kafka like mind fucking that goes every day in thousands of little ways...

New Food "Disorders": Open Wide, and Swallow

Laws are being created, and often times passed with ever increasing frequency that control the food and health related items such as supplements, etc. consumers buy, and, are offered. Alternative health care providers are constantly under attack. In some states it is illegal to collect rainwater -- it's considered theft."Frankenfish." Cloned meats. Radiated foods, foods shot through with artificial sweeteners, MSG. Flouride in the water. Vaccines. Health warnings propaganda. Laws that protect the Agri-Biz, not us. And in the aftermath of BP, and Japan's earthquake, and so much more, more and more laws are made that serve the corporations, and act against our right to choose what we will eat.

As part of  this massive campaign to control what goes into our bodies is the idea that finding fault with the above and choosing to avoid these kinds of foods is a "disorder."  In February of this year the news came out: if you're concerned with what is really in your food, you have a disorder.   Today's news items, flashed on Yahoo's daily news feed, reguritated this news with the following item: New Eating Disorders: Are They For Real? We will see more of these articles that would have us believing that rejecting plastic food is a mental illness in the coming months.

The article starts off reasonably enough. Adults who will eat, say, french fries and a few other foods --no one can say that's healthy, and agreed it's a bit odd. Those people have "Adult Selective Eating" disorder. But then the article gets to the point of this campaign to get Americans on board with this new so-called disorder, which even has its own name: "Orthorexics."
  • Orthorexics: Those affected may start by eliminating processed foods, anything with artificial colorings or flavorings as well as foods that have come into contact with pesticides. Beyond that, orthorexics may also shun caffeine, alcohol, sugar, salt, wheat and dairy foods. Some limit themselves to raw foods.
If the supposed health problems that can arise from this disorder doesn't scare you, maybe the fear of "social isolation" will:
Social Isolation: Being an adult picky eater can take an enormous social toll. Out of embarrassment, these folks avoid dining with friends or co-workers. Heather Hill tries to hide her eating habits from her children for fear that they will pick them up. Going to extremes in an effort to eat only healthy foods can also be socially isolating and can undermine personal relationships.
The article distinguished between two types of disorders. There is "adult selective eating," which is eating just odd stuff to the exclusion of other stuff, and the above mentioned "orthoexics." It's interesting how the article integrates the two into the above paragraph, merging the pickiness of the "adult selective eater" with the health minded individual. Which is which, yet, it doesn't matter. The two are blurred into one image: DISORDER. They're both crazy, and that's all the article intends to do: send the message that caring about the health effects of GM, radiated, artificially sweetened foods is actually unhealthy. In fact, if one "suffers" from orthoexics, one needs help:
Orthorexia: Cognitive behavior therapy designed to change obsessive thought patterns regarding food is usually recommended.
And no doubt meds will be prescribed to soften the effects of this psychological aberration . . .

There is a specific campaign to control what goes into our bodies. Just this month there was an item in the news about a Chicago school district that banned home made lunches. Students are no longer allowed to bring their own lunches to school; the caferteria food is healthier, the school board has told parents.  Collecting rainwater is illegal in some places. Natural food stores, alternative health providers, organic farmers, have been attacked by authorities. Control and choice are being taken away from us, steadily and with intent. It is a persistent agenda that attacks from many angles.

S.F. Police Enforcing No Sit Ban

Last fall, San Francisco voters approved Measure L which prohibits sitting or lying on sidewalks between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. But police delayed enforcing the law until last month to ensure officers were properly trained.
The protocol says that officers will issue a written warning before citing anyone. Fines for repeat offenders range from $50 to $500 and possibly jail time.

Two Recent Die-offs off California Coast

Another U.S. Pacific coast die-off: sharks in S.F. Bay:

Sharks are dying in San Francisco Bay, with volunteers having rescued and removed about a dozen dead and dying leopard sharks in small waterways in Redwood City over the past few days in what is rapidly becoming a common occurrence, an expert said.

Redwood City resident Catherine Greer and her 13-year-old son, Lorenzo, were the first to discover the dying sharks at a lagoon near Redwood Shores off Radio Road earlier this week.

Greer, an avid fisher, said what she saw upset her. "It looked like they were trying to beach themselves," she said.

Frankenfoods in Your "Natural" Foods Store: Whole Foods or Whole Hypocrisy?

After two decades of biotech bullying by Monsanto and Food Inc., a grassroots movement of organic consumers and farmers is rising up across the United States. Inspired by the success of their European counterparts in driving genetically engineered crops and foods off the market, not through an EU ban, but through mandatory labeling, several thousand protesters took to the streets on March 26, 2011 in 30 different cities, under the banner of "Rally for the Right to Know," and "Millions Against Monsanto."

At the same time, anti-GMO activists have stepped up the pace of grassroots lobbying, successfully pressuring state legislators in at least 14 states to introduce bills calling for mandatory labeling of genetically engineered foods.

Activist Post: 9/11 Responders To Be Screened For Terrorism Ties

Responders to 9/11; firefighters and all the rest, must now go through a FBI security/terrorist check, to be compared against their terrorist databases... and if you refuse, you will be denied care, no matter how sick you are. Truly surreal and evil times...

As piglipstick noted, (hat tip) "Corexit Must Be Taking Its Toll." In a blazing example of insensitivity and condescending fascism, Florida has a great idea for the unemployed: put capes on the rotten slacking unemployed.

The short article doesn't state why Workforce Central Florida, the geniuses behind this insulting idea, wants to hand out capes and giant cut-outs of "Dr. Evil Unemployment" but the motivation is clear. Minimize the impact of being unemployed, remove guilt and responsibility from those responsible for the unemployment situation, and keep everyone --especially the unemployed -- controlled via embarrassment. 'London Taliban' is targeting women and gays in bid to impose sharia law | Mail Online

Women who do not wear headscarves are being threatened with violence and even death by Islamic extremists intent on imposing sharia law on parts of Britain, it was claimed today.

Other targets of the 'Talibanesque thugs', being investigated by police in the Tower Hamlets area of London, include homosexuals.

Stickers have been plastered on public walls stating: 'Gay free zone. Verily Allah is severe in punishment'.

TSA security looks at people who complain about ... TSA security -

"In recent years, the TSA has also expanded the scope of the program. Originally intended to look only for suspected terrorists, the program now also seeks to ferret out possible criminals in airports." [italics mine]

New indicators and tactics of who to pull from the herd, including TSA agents "casually" striking up conversations with passengers who appear suspicious. One of the indicators of suspicious behavior:
"Arrogant complaining about airport security"..."Very arrogant and expresses contempt against airport passenger procedures."

More money will be spent on TSA's Behavior Detection Program:
Currently, some 3,000 uniformed behavior detection officers are deployed at about 175 airports. President Obama is calling for an additional 175 such officers in his 2012 budget proposal, and the TSA is expected to spend a total of $1.2 billion on the program over the next five years.
