Activist Post: DNA "Genetic Patdown" Introduced to Airports by DHS

This is what many Fortean conspiracists have been saying all along about the DHS and TSA; the pat downs, searches, and scanners have very little to do with protecting us from terrorists, but much to do with the continuing implementation of global fascism. Author of the piece, Nicholas West, makes the point that, while this may sound all Big Sciency and bewitch us with technological wonders, it is not science doing its wondrous thing to help us:
It is important to note that the technology of tracking, tracing, and databasing innocent people right down to their blood is a top-down directive from federal agencies, not a legitimate scientific endeavor.
West reminds us that the story broke in summer of 2010 that hospitals were covertly collecting DNA from newborns, where the information was stored in military databases.

'Brain Implants' Help Psychiatric Disease

The coincidence is too interesting; my earlier post on the link to the Finnish study on the history of brain implants was chilling enough, and here we have, in today's mainstream news stream from Yahoo, an article on brain implants to "zap" as they say, psychiatric disease.

Many diseases are treated under this brain plant umbrella; with psychiatric diseases it's tricky:

Psychiatric illnesses require a similar operation — but surgeons must implant the electrode into a different spot in the brain.

There's the rub: It's not clear which spot is best for which psychiatric disease. In fact, two manufacturers — Medtronic and St. Jude Medical — have begun major studies of DBS' effects on depression. Each places the implant in a different region, based on promising pilot studies.

Microchip Implants, Mind Control And Cybernetics

In part, this is why I think much of the alien abduction scenario is staged by humans, not ETs. Just speculation, but it's something I've thought for a long time. It began with the satanic ritual memories, then memories of sexual abuse, then aliens. All part of the same technology and manipulations.

Scientist finds Gulf bottom still oily, dead

Marine scientist Samantha Joye, University of Georgia, presented video evidence of the persistent damage caused by BP in the gulf at a conference in Washington. Her findings contradict BP's lies that the gulf is healing.
Earlier this month, Kenneth Feinberg, the government's oil compensation fund czar, said based on research he commissioned he figured the Gulf of Mexico would almost fully recover by 2012 — something Joye and Lubchenco said isn't right.
"I've been to the bottom. I've seen what it looks like with my own eyes. It's not going to be fine by 2012," Joye told The Associated Press. "You see what the bottom looks like, you have a different opinion."
NOAA chief Lubchenco said "even though the oil degraded relatively rapidly and is now mostly but not all gone, damage done to a variety of species may not become obvious for years to come."

Fascism and Mind Control in Cyberspace: Connect the Dots

From this story that appeared on February 18th, 2011 about government contracts involving the creation of fake identities on-line. This isn't about sock puppets or trolls, but focused, targeted manipulations by the government with very specific intents.
Revealed: Air Force ordered software to manage army of fake virtual people | The Raw Story
In the continuing saga of data security firm HBGary, a new caveat has come to light: not only did they plot to help destroy secrets outlet WikiLeaks and discredit progressive bloggers, they also crafted detailed proposals for software that manages online "personas," allowing a single human to assume the identities of as many fake people as they'd like.
The revelation was among those contained in the company's emails, which were dumped onto bittorrent networks after hackers with cyber protest group "Anonymous" broke into their systems.
In another document unearthed by "Anonymous," one of HBGary's employees also mentioned gaming geolocation services to make it appear as though selected fake persons were at actual events.
"There are a variety of social media tricks we can use to add a level of realness to all fictitious personas," it said.

Happy Rockerfeller writes about this at The Daily Kos. And assures us there is no relation "in no way" to Happy Rockerfeller of the Rockerfellers.
On the 15th of this month, Homeland Security "accidentally" shut down 84,000 websites. Going after child pornography websites, the Department of Homeland Security managed to kick thousands of sites off line:
Without notice, all 84,000 sites had their content blocked and visitors were re-directed to a Homeland Security banner that read, "This domain name has been seized by the ICE - Homeland Security Investigations, pursuant to a seizure warrant issued by a United States District Court..." followed by a warning about the consequences of distributing child pornography.
The error was quickly noticed, but because of the time it takes DNS addresses — essentially an index of the Internet — to propogate across the web, some websites still carried the DHS warning up to three days later.

The "kill switch" bill was introduced in June of 2010 by Senator Joe Lieberman, which would give Obama the power to shut down the internet. The bill is called the "Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act, or PCNAA." Alex Jones at Prison Planet reported on this back then, with link to the pdf of the 197 page bill. Also in support of this bill is Rockerfeller:
The bill has the vehement support of Senator Jay Rockefeller, who last year asked during a congressional hearing, “Would it had been better if we’d have never invented the Internet?” while fearmongering about cyber-terrorists preparing attacks.

Trying to eat healthy? You're mentally ill

(thanks to The Daily Grail for link.) Avoiding sugar, salt, GM foods, soy, etc. is now a mental disorder. It's called "healthy eating disorder."
"Fixation with healthy eating can be sign of serious psychological disorder" and goes on to claim this "disease" is called orthorexia nervosa -- which is basically just Latin for "nervous about correct eating."
"Orthorexics commonly have rigid rules around eating. Refusing to touch sugar, salt, caffeine, alcohol, wheat, gluten, yeast, soya, corn and dairy foods is just the start of their diet restrictions. Any foods that have come into contact with pesticides, herbicides or contain artificial additives are also out."

"Pepper spray" was released in a SF BART Station yesterday. Four people were taken to the hospital and "were expected to recover," with the Fire Department's Hazardous Materials dept. finding the material to be pepper spray. The "person" who set off the spray is "still at large."

Corporate Control: Handling the Masses

Market of Choice
Market of Choice is a chain grocery in our area; a lot of high priced, gourmet stuff, with bakery, fish, meat, deli, cheese and wine departments. You can eat upstairs or downstairs by a fireplace, or outside. Very upscale. I shop there every week because in spite of the overpriced stuff there are good alternative items, and it just depends on what I'm buying. I avoid a lot of things; just get what I'm getting.

However, Market of Choice has a notoriously lousy rep as an employer; fascist tactics, such as point systems and typical heavy handed and trivial rules that contribute to the grinding down of the hoi polloi . All about control.

This corporate world view is applied to customers as well. Every week, without fail, the baggers would put all the cans in one bag, all the glass bottles in another, and not seem to understand that (since we always brought in our own bags) the insulated cooler bag was obviously for perishables. Instead, they'd put fish in the canvas bag, or lettuce, and, say, a bag of walnuts in the cooler bag.

So we started bagging our own groceries, which took weeks of training the cashiers that, yes, we do want to bag our own groceries, thank you for the offer but we prefer to do it ourselves. We had to literally "fight" with cashiers over this; and experienced many a dirty look from them. Now they're used to it and most of them know us and don't hassle us.

Over Christmas, we noticed a new control tactic. We're next in line, waiting with our cart, and an employee comes along and just starts unloading our items from our cart onto the conveyor belt! She didn't even say anything to us. We said (nicely) we're fine doing it ourselves, thank you. This did not help move anything any faster in any way. Happened again today; we're in line, and a woman comes over and starts to take things out of our cart. We had already emptied most of the cart anyway, so I don't see what the purpose was. She was pretty snippy with us. As we're finishing up bagging our groceries, and I'm putting the bags into the cart, she comes along and takes an empty bag out of my hand and puts it in the cart! This after I told her I "got it" and didn't need help.

Under the guise of being helpful; this is really about control. Making sure the customer is moving along, fast enough, confused enough, not chatting with the employees, not hanging around, not stealing anything...

I haven't taken a train in a long time, but have been thinking of taking a train trip to Portland and Vancouver, British Columbia... but now I'm rethinking this. The following item addresses the control factor: Why take the fun out of rail commuting?
Last month, we began to see first-hand the results of our Big Brother from Washington. First, they issued directives that no one was to sit in the lounge car for more than 30 minutes, and they must purchase food and beverages to sit there at all (this car sits virtually empty in the early morning without commuters). Now there is a plan to intentionally block Internet service in the lounge car in order to discourage passengers from using this as a space to work and study. And this is on top of Amtrak's already poorly thought-out commuter schedule and ever-increasing monthly pass rates.
As the Vicki Walker and Doug Walker point out in their article, these controlling actions don't do much to encourage citizens from seeking alternative transportation. (To be fair, as some of the comments state, taking up a table for four with all your books and laptop and a cup of coffee for the entire trip is rude and selfish.)

Eugene's Municipal Exclusion Law
The city of Eugene has an "exclusionary law" which means that, at their whim, police can prohibit citizens from certain areas of downtown. (such as it is.) Not coincidentally, Oregon has the highest homeless population in the nation. In the city's report one police officer gave an example of how the law is beneficial, citing homeless people as the victims, with the excluded in this case a person who was attacking homeless people.

While this law is unconstitutional, it hasn't been fought hard enough; so far, it's been ruled as sound, though the city says it will take another look at the ordinance soon.

On Modern Mechanix: Your Sex Questions Answered

Found on Boing Boing, this link to a 1959 Q and A about sex. As pointed out on the blog, it's sad, in that it exposes the "norms" of the day (er, I just realized I was five years old in 1959) and that knowledge of sexuality was in many ways still in the Dark Ages:

More BP/Military Propaganda: Seafood is Safe for our Troops

From the "They Have No Fucking Shame Department", another item on the military's use of BP tainted seafood to serve the troops. (See my December post Navy Joins BP in Food Propaganda.)
Sales of Gulf of Mexico seafood are getting a boost from the military after being hammered by last year's BP oil spill, which left consumers fearing that the water's bounty had been tainted.
Ten products, including fish, shrimp, oysters, crab cakes, and packaged Cajun dishes such as jambalaya and shrimp etouffee are being promoted at 72 base commissaries along the East Coast, said Milt Ackerman, president of Military Solutions Inc., which is supplying seafood to the businesses.
Gulf seafood sales fell sharply after a BP gulf well blew out in April, spewing millions of gallons of oil into the sea. Consumers have long feared that fish, oysters and other products could be tainted by oil and chemicals used to fight the spill, although extensive testing has indicated the food is safe. The perception has lingered - along with the poor sales.
The Defense Department-run Defense Commissary Agency - known as DeCa - sells groceries to military personnel, reservists, retirees and their families at cost plus a 5 percent surcharge. The stores have emphasized healthy diets as part of first lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" fitness and health campaign.
"What fits in with that better than seafood?" Ackerman said.
The gulf seafood promotion begins Tuesday at Belle Chasse Naval Air Station, La., where chefs from the military and New Orleans restaurants will prepare gulf delicacies. Some 20,000 people have commissary privileges at the air base just outside New Orleans.

Following the Signals's paper (Register Guard) had two unrelated (seemingly, at first) articles that aroused my conspiratorial minded self.

Be prepared for whenever the lights go out (Bill Husted:Cax newspapers) gives us advice on being prepared for power outrages. Good advice, and I plan to follow some of it. (As, indeed, we are in general terms.) The second article appeared in the Commentary section: How safe is too safe? with two sides of the argument debating the TSA and body scanners. Amazingly, the "pro" side is titled Learn to accept airport screenings as a layer of security. (Bogdan Kipling:
Much of her [Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano] timidity, it appears, may be linked to the vigorous attention of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, an organization known for its energetic protests every time a Muslim is singled out for screening.
The organization maintains that full-body scanners violate Muslims’ “religious and privacy rights” and that a Muslim woman should be patted down only by another Muslim woman.
he either ignores, or simply doesn't get, the real reason for Homeland Security, TSA, scanners, pat-downs, and all the rest: control. Under the guise of the real threat of terrorism, the actual agenda is manifested.

The constant hum of fear and anxiety getting louder, and presented as an acceptable reality. Security and personal invasions are here to stay, crazy weather and earth events are random and frequent.

Fish Die-Off in Amazon, Florida

More animal die-offs, very sad as well as unnverving. From the Amazon, also Florida, thousands of various fish found dead. From the Amazon:
At Aquidauana, pantanal region of the Mato Grosso do Sul state, shoals of painteds, pacus, golden fishes, cacharas – and even stingrays, are floating dead in Rio Negro, one of the largest in the Amazon River basin.

Animal Die-Offs: Quiet For Now. . .

The bird deaths and other animal die-offs that started near the New Year and continued in eeire rashes of activity have seemed to have stopped. I don't think this is a coincidence, given the location of the first reports in the southeast of the U.S., and the news from the FAA about military testing in the same part of the country that will affect GPS systems.
the FAA, which warns pilots that their GPS signal "may be unreliable or unavailable" due to "GPS tests" that the Department of Defense will be conducting between January 20th and February 22nd. Details are fairly light beyond that, but the FAA does note that when the "tests" occur they will be active for 45 minutes, and be followed by 15 minutes of off time --
And that's when new reports of bird and other animal die-offs will appear.

The testing hasn't happened yet, and the die-offs occurred end of December and the New Year. Which suggests that testing has already begun -- sort of "pre testing."

Animal die-offs have been happening all over the globe, and not all of them are directly related to sinister covert activities of course. But none of this is a coincidence.
